SUMMARY
As an Environmental Noise Specialist you will be fully involved in sound propagation modeling, sound prediction methods, plus noise and vibration measurement, standards, and analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management, field work, data analysis and report generation;
Demonstrated knowledge of the following acoustic fields is required:
Good knowledge of fundamentals of Acoustics and sound propagation outdoors and indoors;
ISO, ANSI and CSA standards related to acoustics and noise control;
Experience with Cadna_A and Soundplan software and analysis tools;
Knowledge of acoustic and dynamic measurements;
Experience with measurement analysis tools;
Familiarity with precision sound level metres is desirable.
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will have a bachelors or masters degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, or another suitable discipline. Additionally you will have demonstrated the ability to function in a high-performance team environment, be client-focused, and able to multi-task effectively.
