SUMMARY
Provide supply chain management to ensure expectations are met relative to delivery, quality, cost and inventory targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide supply chain management to ensure expectations are met relative to delivery, quality, cost and inventory targets.
Ensure that parts are available to meet production requirements.
Work with Supply Chain Managers to develop and implement aggressive material cost and inventory reduction targets.
Work directly with Supply Chain Manager and shop personnel to coordinate internal Offload activity at suppliers.
Place, monitor and maintain purchase orders that meets annual quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
Support the negotiation and supplier selection process to facilitate make/buy objectives or offload in support of capacity planning exercises.
Execute commodity sourcing strategies and participate in supplier negotiations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree/college diploma in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a multi-site manufacturing company.
Demonstrated knowledge of, or experience with lean manufacturing systems or Six Sigma.
Knowledge of ERP configuration, manufacturing processes and systems.
