JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Training & Development is responsible for managing and executing all operational training initiatives. A large focus of this role is on instructional design, facilitation and evaluation of training programs while managing and developing a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting training needs analysis
Designing and redesigning training programs adhering to instructional design methodology ensuring that learning occurs in an efficient and cost effective manner
Creation and development of all training materials including trainer guides, participant materials and evaluation systems
Facilitation of training programs
Coordinating training schedules and programs company-wide
Evaluating training programs and ensuring that they meet client requirements
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Managing the training budget and tuition reimbursement program
Developing and maintaining reporting structure to track and monitor employee learning and development
QUALIFICATIONS
Adult Education Certificate
5 years of Training Manager, Instructional Design experience mandatory
5 years of delivering in class training experience mandatory
Proven instructional design and facilitation skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
