RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide technical support relating to all aspects of the controls, electrical and auxiliary systems design of gas and steam turbine engines in the service area

 

Deliverables will include drawing, specifications, engineering reports, engineering studies, project engineering, PLC programming and field and shop problem resolution for service programs

 

Ability to interact with customers including preparing and presenting of knowledgeable and convincing proposals through presentations and reports

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Electrical Engineering Degree

 

PEO designation or eligibility

 

Minimum 3- 5 years experience in design/service of control, electrical and related equipment for gas and/or steam turbines, auxiliary systems or other rotating equipment experience

 

Demonstrated ability to perform as a project and/or programming engineer for PLC control systems is required (Siemens S7/WINCC, Emerson/WDPF/Ovation)

 

Knowledge of general principles and theories in a professional field and be able to apply those to the solutions of problems

 

Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues and use sound judgment to develop solutions to technical problems is an asset
