RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sufficient experience within engineering discipline to perform design, analysis, and evaluations of technical products and services and to identify problems and propose operational solutions as the need arises during projects and tasks.
Determine and ensure that the proper controls for a given task are in place and that supporting evaluations and analyses are documented.
Verify engineering work of, and provide technical guidance, training, and direction to others at equivalent or lesser levels and communicate to all necessary parities the nature and status of work/projects; identify and communicate product/service improvements to management.
Prepare technical descriptions/sections, including cost benefit studies, for proposals and various documents.
Propose and initiate test programs as needed and evaluate results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelors degree in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering
2 to 6 years experience of design, analysis, and evaluations of technical products
PWR nuclear fuel mechanical design experience
In-Reactor fuel performance issues.
Project Management skills
Experience working in PWR plants and with irradiated fuel inspections
