The Product Specialist is involved with the development and promotion of all of the company’s products and services.
Leads the research, development and implementation of refinements of our existing product line
Leads the research, development and implementation of new products (traditional P&C and non-P&C)
Participates in the pricing strategies specific to product development and annual pricing reviews of existing products
Participates in the development and delivery of product training initiatives for internal and external partners
Monitors, assesses and interprets the marketplace and demographic trends to keep abreast of market issues and product needs
Develops and maintains product and service promotional material including underwriting manuals, periodic newsletter and electronic sales aids.
Visits and liaises with brokers to communicate corporate marketing information, resolve problems and foster a good working partnership
Post-secondary designation and/or completion of CIP designation with 5 years experience with P&C
