SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Biofuels Business Development, the incumbent will provide leadership in developing biofuels related business improvement opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Research and identify relevant business and technological opportunities related to Biofuels and Biochemicals business strategy
Provide analysis to support innovative business and technology concepts that enhance economic, social and environmental performance
Work with technical groups to formulate strategy and cost structures as well as prepare project valuation summaries
Evaluate technology changes, new product plans or process re-configurations for senior management and other groups
Develop and maintain relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Represent company in the biofuels related industry/ stakeholder initiatives
Remain current with the evolving regulatory environments
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree and professional designation in Engineering
Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
Advanced PC and data modelling skills
Solid understanding of the biofuels industry including its trends & opportunities
Demonstrated analytical, financial and problem solving skills
Experience in building business cases
Strong process, planning and execution orientation
Ability to listen, understand and respond effectively to others
Ability to work with limited direction and within a broad, evolving business development mandate
